I have known the various carers and people associated with Ask4Care for over the last 6 months after having had a bad experience with another organisation who struggled to deal with my father's difficult and complex health conditions. I can safely say that Ask4Care restored my faith not only in the care system but also in human nature given the attentive care and understanding they now offer my father in his own home and are always flagging up issues before they can spiral into a real problem. Choosing and trusting someone to look after your parents is not an easy task. Coming from a childcare background I had heard many stories of abuse of vulnerable people. But from the minute I met Liz I knew they would be in safe hands. Liz had been through a similar situation herself and was compassionate about her role. The cares were kind and understanding of my Dads needs and kept my Dsds dignity throughout. They looked after my mum too giving her a much needed hug as she was struggling to see my Dad deteriorate after 65 years together. Unfortunately 3 months after my Dad had passed my mum is now needing carers and the first call I made was to Ask4care as I knew I would get the support you so badly need at a terrible heartbreaking time in my life.
